Tina Fey, Jon Stewart to Guest on Comedy Central's BETWEEN TWO FERNS, 5/6
According to The Huffington Post, Scott Aukerman announced on his 'Comedy Bang Bang' podcast today that he has just completed his TV directing debut with a half hour episode of Comedy Central's BETWEEN TWO FERNS. The episode will feature comedians Tina Fey and Jon Stewart and will air on May 6.
Zach Galifianakis hosts the Funny Or Die web-series which has recently featured guest appearances by Will Ferrell and Jennifer Aniston. In the series, actors sit between two potted ferns while Galifianakis attempts to make them feel as uncomfortable as possible.
The upcoming episode, entitled, "Between Two Ferns: A Fairy Tale of New York," marks the first time the series will be aired on TV, rather than on computer screens. Along with Fey and Stewart, Sir Richard Branson will also be featured.
The episode will air on Comedy Central May 6, 8:30 P.M. EST, right before the Comedy Awards.
