Wyatt Cenac goes from correspondent to center stage in his first-ever one-hour stand-up special, "Wyatt Cenac: Comedy Person" debuting Saturday, May 14 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

From the Skirball Center for Performing Arts in New York City, Cenac gets real as he discusses life in the "Big Apple," rules for growing up black, attractive neighbors and why TV is the best roommate you'll ever have. He also touches on an assortment of topics ranging from his obsession with internet cat videos to the future of Medieval Times. Wyatt Cenac is currently a writer and regular contributor and correspondent on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart". He reported his first field story in 2008 about Barack Obama, who was a Democratic presidential hopeful at the time. Cenac grew up in Dallas, Texas and later moved to North Carolina, where he attended college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduation, Cenac moved to Los Angeles, where he spent three seasons as a writer on FOX's popular animated show, "King of the Hill." Wyatt also performed stand-up and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade and Improv Olympic. In 2008, Cenac starred in the film, "Medicine For Melancholy," which was nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards.
