Telemundo's daily morning show "Un Nuevo Día" won the first-ever "Outstanding Morning Program in Spanish" category Sunday night at the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California.

"We are extremely proud with this recognition from the Academy," said Maria Lopez-Alvarez. "This award will inspire our talented hosts and seasoned production team to work even harder every morning to give our viewers the information and motivation they need to jump start their day and make their lives better."

Hosted by Rashel Diaz, Adamari Lopez, Ana Maria Canseco, Daniel Sarcos and Diego Schoening, "Un Nuevo Día" offers a daily mix of information, entertainment and comedy together with health, beauty and fashion tips. The show also features Chef James' special recipes, as well as news updates with Neida Sandoval.

Most recently, "Un Nuevo Día" has hosted a slew of Hollywood stars, including Son of God's Mark Burnett, Roma Downey and Diogo Morgado, as well as Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, Arnold Schwarzenegger and America Ferrara, and presented multiple simulcast concerts with NBC's Today Show, featuring top music stars like Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull and Juanes.
