Telemundo Deportes, the Spanish-language home of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, presents exclusive "Rumbo al Mundial" broadcast of four key matches in the final round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying. The broadcast includes Trinidad & Tobago vs. Honduras on Friday, September 1, followed by three matches on Tuesday, September 5: Honduras vs. USA, Panama vs. Trinidad & Tobago, and Costa Rica vs. Mexico. With only four games left for each team before the end of the confederation's qualifying, in this round, the six teams continue their battle to stand in the top three and qualify to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™.
The broadcast of the matches will be complemented by "Rumbo al Mundial: Objetivo Rusia," a new, one-hour studio show set to debut on Sunday, August 27 that will air throughout this round and the final fixture of the hexagonal in October. It will feature Telemundo Deportes' soccer experts presenting the latest news and analysis around all the CONCACAF qualifying action. The show will air on Telemundo for two consecutive Sundays and on Tuesday, September 5; all three shows will re-air on Universo. Additional coverage will also include special content across Telemundo, Universo and Telemundo Deportes' digital platforms. Programming Highlights: Coverage kicks off on Sunday, August 27 at 2 p.m. ET on Telemundo with the debut of "Rumbo al Mundial: Objetivo Rusia."
