Taye Diggs to Star in Steven Bochco Drama Pilot

Straight from their recent TV series ABC's Private Practice and Starz's Boss, Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson have signed on to star in an upcoming TNT drama pilot titled MURDER IN THE FIRST from Steven Bochco. Deadline reports that the project was co-created by Bochco and Eric Lodal.
The murder mystery, set in contemporary San Francisco, will follow "two SFPD homicide detectives, Terry Seagrave (Diggs) and Hildy Mulligan (Robertson), as they take on a case that seems more like a maze."
Diggs is well-known for his performance in Broadway's Rent and the film adaptation which followed. He made his Broadway debut in the ensemble cast of the 1994 Tony Award-winning revival of the musical Carousel. Other film credits include How Stella Got Her Groove Back.
