Taye Diggs to Guest on New Season of NEW GIRL

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Taye Diggs will be stopping by the upcoming third season of the FOX comedy NEW GIRL. The 'Private Practice' star will portray a potential love interest for Zooey Deschanel's 'Jess.'
Diggs will appear in the seventh episode of the third season, set to air sometime in November. His character, 'Artie' is described as a "smooth, confidant ladies man" who has "his eyes set on Jess, which proves to be a problematic for her new relationship with Nick."
The actor will soon be seen on the big screen in Baggage Claim and Best Man Holiday.
Diggs made his Broadway debut in the ensemble cast of the 1994 Tony Award-winning revival of the musical Carousel. He is best known for his roles in the Broadway musical Rent, the motion picture How Stella Got Her Groove Back, and the television series Private Practice. He is married to actress and singer Idina Menzel.
