TONIGHT SHOW Featuring Michelle Obama Delivers 4 Million Viewers

Wednesday's TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON with guest First Lady Michelle Obama and musical guest Stevie Wonder, has generated "Tonight's" most-watched Wednesday telecast in 14 months, according to official national "live plus same day" ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

Averaging 4.090 million viewers, it's the top Wednesday "Tonight" since Oct. 28, 2015 (with guests Sandra Bullock and Rod Stewart, 4.143 million).

Versus "Tonight's" prior Wednesday original on Dec. 21, this week's edition was up +29% (4.090 million vs. 3.169 million).

In that hour Wednesday night, CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" averaged 2.399 million viewers and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" delivered 2.163 million.

In adults 18-49, the Jan. 11 "Tonight" averaged a 0.93 rating, best for a Wednesday "Tonight" since Oct. 26, 2016 (with guests Justin Timberlake and Tracey Ullman, 0.93).
