THE VOICE's Chris Mann Signs Record Deal

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Mann, the third-runner up on NBC's reality singing competition THE VOICE has just signed a record deal with Faircraft/Universal Republic and is planning his major label debut for this fall.  

Mann, a classically trained opera singer, was a member of Christina Aguilera’s team on last season's show. Upon the season finale, the singer already had two songs on the iTunes Top 10 Pop Singles Chart. Judge Cee Lo Green commented of the singer, “He is by far one of the most incomparable vocalists I have ever heard.”

Universal Republic Records CEO and President Monte Lipman commented, "Chris Mann's talent is undeniable. He proved to be a shining star on The Voice, and it's exciting to see this dynamic performer continue to grow.” 

Mann's previous credits include a tour with Grammy Award-winner India.Arie and Tony Award-winner Idina Menzel. He has also performed at the Sundance Film Festival, the Academy Awards Young Hollywood Party and the American Film Institute Awards.
