THE VOICE Finale Grows in Total Viewers and 18-49 Demo

NBC wins Tuesday among the Big 4 networks in all key demographics. The finale of THE VOICE (2.0/8 in 18-49, 10.8 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET)grows +5% versus the prior cycle's finale in 18-49 (2.0 vs. 1.9 on May 23) and +1.5 million persons or +16% in total viewers (10.844 million vs. 9.345 million) and jumps +18% versus the prior Tuesday in 18-49 (2.0 vs. 1.7 from 8-9 p.m.) and +1.1 million persons or +11% in total viewers (10.844 million vs. 9.769 million) In total viewers, delivers NBC's biggest in-season audience in the timeslot in the past year (best dring the regular season since Dec. 13, 2016, 12.139 for the "Voice 11" finale) and in 18-49 equals NBC's top rating in the slot since Oct. 3 during the second week of the season (2.1). Equals the show's highest Tuesday rating since Oct. 17 in 18-49 (2.2) and top Tuesday total-viewer result since Oct. 10 (11.086 million). Is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in every key measure.

The show wins the time period among the Big 4 networks in every key measure. The year-ago cycle concluded with a 2.5 in 18-49 and 12.139 million viewers from 9-11 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016. Note that the year-ago finale ran a week earlier and that this year's Dec. 19 airdate is the closest a "Voice" finale has ever run to the Christmas holiday. Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD - Tuesday's "Voice" has been increasing by +24% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from 2.07 to a 2.57) and +1.8 million viewers overall (10.2 million to 12.0 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

An encore recap telecast of "The Voice" (1.4/6 in 18-49, 7.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET): Wins the time period among the Big 4 networks in all key ratings categories.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.6/4 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.5/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.9/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.5/4 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
