According to The Hollywood Reporter, THE GOLDBERGS will kick off its fourth season with a spoof of John Hughes' iconic 1980's film "The Breakfast Club."

The episode, set to air on Sept. 21 at 8 p.m, is part of the Adam F. Goldberg comedy's annual tradition known as "Adam's Folly" in which the sitcom pays homage to classic films. Goldberg explained to THR, "We decided after the Goonies episode that every year we're going to do one big Adam's Folly episode and straight up homage to an '80s movie."

Last year's season opener parodied the Tom Cruise classic "Risky Business' while previous season debuts of the semi-autobiographical comedy based on Goldberg's life included tributes to Dirty Dancing (season three), Ferris Bueller's Day Off (season two) and The Goonies (season one).

"The Breakfast Club" starred Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall and Ally Sheedy and ranked No. 27 on THR's list of Hollywood's 100 Favorite Movies of all time.
