TED Tops Movies On Demand for Week Ending 12/23/12

Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ: RENT) today announced the top ten movies-on-demand titles based on consumer transaction rate. Movies-on-demand are transactional (pay-per-purchase) films available through cable and telco providers.

According to the company's OnDemand Essentials service, the top ten most-viewed titles, per data collected from December 17, 2012 through December 23, 2012 include:

1) Ted, Universal - Released: 12/11/12
2) Pitch Perfect, Universal - Released: 12/18/12
3) The Bourne Legacy, Universal - Released: 12/11/12
4) Total Recall, Sony - Released: 12/18/12
5) The Dark Knight Rises, Warner Bros. - Released: 12/04/12
6) Trouble With the Curve, Warner Bros. - Released: 12/18/12
7) Ice Age: Continental Drift, FOX - Released: 12/11/12
8) Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, FOX - Released: 12/18/12
9) Resident Evil: Retribution, Sony - Released: 12/21/12
10) Men in Black 3, Sony - Released: 11/30/12
