Sprout Announces October Programming Highlights

It's a month of tricks, clicks and treats for Preschoolers both on air and online!

· All Month -- Sprout Halloween Parade: Kids everywhere can be a part of Sprout's ongoing on air costume parade by marching in place wearing their Halloween costumes and sending their video to Sprout through the "Send to Sprout" app . New segments will be added weekly - forming a huge parade of user generated content.
· Wednesday, October 30 -- Room on the Broom (6:00 pm): The US premiere of the movie Room on the Broom, based on a popular children's book about the adventures of a witch and her cat happily flying through the sky on a broomstick, airs just prior to Halloween.
· October 28 - November 1 -- The Sunny Side Up Show (9:00 - noon daily): The Sunshine Barn will have a special Halloween theme through the week of October 28.
· The Sunny Side Up Show hosts will be dressed up for Halloween
· Special collection of Halloween themed episodes of The Sunny Side Up programs will air on 10/31
· Award winning kids musician Justin Roberts will appear in the Sunshine Barn and preform a few of his favorites, including a special Halloween song called "Trick or Treat"

· Thursday, October 31 -- Chica Show Halloween Episode: Halloween is Chica's favorite time of the year, but her indecision on what costume to wear stops her from enjoying all the fun.

· October 28 -- Halloween Videos and Content: Kids can celebrate Halloween all week with videos, costumes, activities and more on Sprout's dedicated Halloween page.
