Season Finale of CBS's CRIMINAL MNDS Scores Largest Audience Since February

The ninth season finale of Criminal Minds swept its time period with its best ratings in key measures since February, while the penultimate episode of Survivor also scored growth in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, May 14.

At 8:00 PM, Survivor was first in viewers (9.88m), adults 25-54 (3.3/10) and adults 18-49 (2.5/08). Survivor was up +4% from last week, with its best adults 18-49 rating since March 19, 2014. Survivor topped "American Idol Wednesday" in their common hour for the seventh straight week in viewers and the ninth consecutive week in key demos.

At 9:00 PM, the season finale of Criminal Minds was first in viewers (11.96m), adults 25-54 (3.7/09) and adults 18-49 (2.7/08). Criminal Minds posted its best deliveries in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Feb. 5, 2014. Compared to last week, Criminal Minds was up +14% in viewers (from 10.52m) and +17% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/07). Criminal Minds was the night's top show in viewers.

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (9.94m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07).
