By:

According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming has resumed on STAR WARS: Episode VII, after being delayed due to Harrison Ford's broken leg. After the Hans Solo actor broke his leg on set at Pinewood Studios in the U.K. in June, production continued with other scenes before having to shut down for a few weeks so that he could recuporate. Sources report that Ford was injured while filming a scene involving the Millennium Falcon, his famed spacecraft. EPISODE VII is set 30 years after EPISODE VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI.

The 71-year-old star is joined in the cast by original co-stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker, and newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o and Max von Sydow.

The film, the first STAR WARS under the Disney umbrella, and remains on course for a December 18, 2015 release. To read the original article, click here.
