Richard Griffiths Joins LeBlanc & Mangan In Showtime/BBC's 'Episodes'

According to The Hollywood Reporter Richard Griffiths will join Matt LeBlanc and Stephen Mangan on the new Showtime/BBC comesdy series 'Episodes.'

'Episodes' will centeral around a British couple trying to recreate their UK hit comedy series for American audiences.

On the series Griffiths will play a version of himself, a celebrated British actor who is replaced by Matt LeBlanc, playing himself.

Richard Griffiths has appeared on Broadway in EQUUS and THE HISTORY BOYS, he also starred in the film version of the latter. Griffiths won the Tony Award for leading actor in a play for his role in THE HISTORY BOYS. On screen Griffiths has stared in the 'Harry Potter' films alongside his EQUUS co-star Daniel Radcliffe. He has also appeared in 'Gandhi' and 'The French Lieutenant's Woman.'

'Episodes' is set to begin filming in London and Los Langeles next year.
