Rebecca Ferguson in Talks to Star in Untitled Patricia Neal and Roald Dahl Project with Hugh Bonneville

Patricia Neal

Rebecca Ferguson has been in talks to to portray Academy Award winner Patricia Neal in an untitled Patricia Neal and Roald Dahl Project, as reported by Deadline. Hugh Bonneville has previously been linked to the role of famed children's writer Dahl. The film is set to begin principal photography in 2018.

The project will follow Neal and Dahl's marriage. The film will be set in New York, Los Angeles and England in the 1960s, when Dahl struggles with his writing while Neal finds success returning to acting in her Oscar-winning role in HUD. The movie is sad to be a sweet and funny look at the couple.

Ferguson is currently filming MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 6 and will next appear in the movie musical THE GREATEST SHOWMAN with Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron.

Elliot Jenkins is set to produce with Goldcrest Films. Goldcrest Films' recent works include the upcoming MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS and KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE.
