ROB THE MOB film event reveals secrets of NYC Mafia social clubs at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, May 23
Rob the Mob, a film directed by Academy Award nominee writer-director Raymond De Felitta (City Island, Two Family House, The Thing About My Folks), will be screened as a Ridgefield Playhouse Film Society event on Saturday, May 23, at 7:30 p.m. The film is based on the true story of Thomas and Rosemarie Uva, two lovers whose 1991 audacious heists of NYC Mafia social clubs resulted in a discovery that could forever change the face of organized crime in America. The film stars Michael Pitt, Nina Arianda, Andy Garcia and Ray Romano. Director De Felitta will be on hand at the Playhouse for a Q&A hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist Ira Joe Fisher. This event is supported by The Ridgefield Press and Whistle Stop Bakery.
