The show's executive producers and writers David Benioff and Dan Weiss gave the Queen an official tour which included a look at costumes and props used on the popular cable drama series. The Royals admired the show's impressive array of weaponry and clothing and chatted with the show's members of staff.

The Queen's visit comes just after the show aired its Season 4 finale which drew in 9.3 million viewers. The episode also broke illegal download records with 15 million downloads, according to piracy-monitoring blog TorrentFreak.

The executive producers are David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield, and co-executive producers are Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis and George R.R. Martin.
