Paramount Insurge Pictures and Ben Stiller to Debut BURNING LOVE on Yahoo

Paramount's Insurge Pictures and Red Hour Digital today announced they have struck a deal with Yahoo! to premiere BURNING LOVE, an original digital series, on Yahoo!. BURNING LOVE will launch as part of the Comedy Channel on Yahoo! Screen (http://screen.yahoo.com), the company's video destination. Yahoo! is the top destination online for original programming with over 35 million unique visitors a month.

The scripted comedy series, launching in Spring 2012, spoofs popular reality dating shows and features an impressive line up of comedic actors from film and television including Ken Marino, Malin Akerman, Kristen Bell, Michael Ian Black, Ken Jeong, Adam Scott, Abigail Spencer, Natasha Leggero, Ryan Hansen, June Diane Raphael, Noureen DeWulf, Kerri Kenney, Beth Dover, and more.

"We feel Burning Love is going to burn a hole through the internet and create a worldwide comedy meltdown. Think Wiki Leaks, only sexier and funnier," said Ben Stiller, Red Hour.

BURNING LOVE follows fireman Mark Orlando (Ken Marino) as he searches for the perfect woman. Viewers get a front row seat to the champagne toasts, candles, heartbreak, bubble baths, chocolate, choreography, hair extensions, roller skating, betrayal, spray-tans, and rainbows in the most romantic, comedic web series ever made.

Burning Love is executive produced by Red Hour's Ben Stiller, Stuart Cornfeld and Mike Rosenstein, Abominable Pictures' Jonathan Stern, Ken Marino and Erica Oyama with Paramount's Insurge Pictures distributing the project. The series is written by Erica Oyama and directed by Ken Marino.
