Jef Nathanson will pen the fifth installment of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN. Directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, the Jerry Bruckheimer project is set to hit theaters on July 7, 2017.

In an interview shared in the UK's Daily Mail, actor Orlando Bloom reveals he might join former co-starr Johnny Depp for the next adventure on the high seas.

"There have certainly been some discussions about it and I'm open to it," the actor said. "That whole experience working with Johnny (Depp) and (director) Gore (Verbinski) was really amazing for me."

Bloom's character, Will Turner, was last seen in 2007's Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. In the film, young Turner served as captain of The Flying Dutchman, cursed to spend his life at sea for ten years at a time before he could return to land for just one day. T
