Nicole Kidman to Star as Grace Kelly in Upcoming Film
According to The Huffington Post, Nicole Kidman is in talks to portray Grace Kelly in the upcoming film GRACE OF MONACO. The film will center on the eleven month period in Kelly's life when she successfully prevented a coup in her city-state of Monaco which involved a tax controversy. The film will be directed by Oliver Dahan who helmed "La Vie en Rose".
Kidman was recently seen on the big screen in 'Trespass' and 'Just Go With It'. She will soon appear in "Hemingway & Gellhorn," an HBO movie where she'll star opposite Clive Owen. The actress recently shot "The Paperboy" and "Stoker" and is about to begin filming on "The Railway Man" with Colin Firth.
Oscar-winner Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956. She died in 1982 after suffering a stroke while driving.
