Common Ground follows the story of BEA and LIA -- two very different girls from two very different places -- whose lives come crashing together and flipped upside down after a Craigslist housing scam. Think "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" meets "Community".

COMMMON GROUND traces the girls' journeys as they each try to find where they may - or often humorously may not-fit in amidst the whirlwind of opportunity, disappointments, relationships and unexpected twists and turns of being a twenty-something in New York City. Along the way, some truly wonderful and wacky people come into their lives, and everyone, despite their many differences, somehow finds common ground. Season One is tentatively set to air Fall of 2014.

Co-written by and starring Josephine Huang (The Following) and Veronique Ory (The Man Under at 59e59 Theaters), the series attempts to fill a gap in the current content about life in the city. The pilot episode also features actors Ricky Dunlop (Wallflowers), Ryan Spahn (Ugly Betty), Jeff Still (Public Enemies), Jessica DiGiovanni (Sleepwalkers), Bjorn Dupaty (Alpha House), Tatsuo Ichikawa (White Collar) and Maura Knowles (Law & Order: SVU).

The Kickstarter goal to fund the entire first season is set at $8,500. For more information, visit https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1722982626/common-ground-a-new-comedy-webseries
