NBC Sports to Present PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS, Today

NBC Sports Group presents PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS (PBC) this Saturday, July 23, live at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, highlighted by an eight-round welterweight bout between the unbeaten Fabian "TNT" Maidana (9-0, 6 KOs) and Puerto Rico's Jorge "Machito" Maysonet (13-1, 11 KOs) from the Scottish Rite Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas.

NBCSN's coverage also features unbeaten prospect Alan Castano (10-0, 7 KOs) taking on Aaron Garcia (12-5-1, 10 KOs) in an eight-round middleweight bout, and undefeated prospect Brandon Figueroa (8-0, 5 KOs) vs. Puerto Rico's Adalberto Zorrilla (6-1, 6 KOs) in an eight-round super bantamweight attraction.

Representing Santa Fe, Argentina, Maidana has posted dominant decisions in his last two bouts after scoring six straight knockouts following his pro debut in 2014. Maidana, the younger brother of a two-division champion Marcos Maidana, went eight rounds in each of his last two bouts as he picked up victories over Peter Oluoch and Andres Amarillla. Maidana faces Maysonet, who looks for his third straight victory.

Castano, who hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina, won his first eight fights before making his U.S. debut with a KNOCKOUT victory last August. He takes on Garcia, who was born in Guadalajara but trains out of Chicago.

Figueroa turned pro in May 2015, and has won all eight of his fights. He now takes on Zorilla, who fights out of his native Puerto Rico.
