NBC Sports to Air NASCAR Sprint Cup Elimination Race, 10/2

NBC Sports heads to "The Monster Mile" in Delaware this weekend for a pivotal weekend of racing from Dover International Speedway. The third race of the Sprint Cup Chase, NBC Sports presents the final opportunity for 14 drivers to punch their ticket into the Round of 12, Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. With Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. safely into the next round by virtue of capturing wins over the last two weeks, the remaining Sprint Cup Chase drivers must put it all on the line to keep the dream of a Sprint Cup title alive. The second race of the XFINITY Series Chase begins Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports kicks off over 19 hours of trackside coverage from Dover International Speedway Friday morning with Sprint Cup practice at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN. NASCAR AMERICA begins at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN before Sprint Cup qualifying starts at 3:30 p.m. ET. An on-site edition of NASCAR AMERICA wraps up Friday's coverage at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Saturday's coverage begins with practice at 10:30 a.m. ET on CNBC, followed by NASCAR AMERICA at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN and final practice at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Countdown to Green begins race day coverage on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN followed by Sprint Cup race coverage at 2 p.m. ET. A on-site post-race show immediately follows the checkered flag, and a special Victory Lap live from the Speedway concludes trackside coverage at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Race announcer Rick Allen calls this weekend's action alongside analysts Steve Letarte and Jeff Burton. Pre- and post-race coverage is handled by host Krista Voda, and analysts Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett. Marty Snider, Mike Massaro, Dave Burns and Kelli Stavast report from pit road.

NBC Sports' XFINTIY coverage from Dover International Speedway begins Friday with practice at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Final practice wraps up the day at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Saturday's race day coverage begins with qualifying at 11:30 p.m. ET on CNBC. Countdown to Green kicks off at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and flows into coverage of the second race of the XFINITY Series Chase at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Amid preparations for Sunday's event, where four drivers will find their dreams of a Championship over in Dover, two Sprint Cup Champions join NASCAR America, NBCSN's daily show dedicated to stock car racing. Tony Stewart joins NASCAR AMERICA this evening via satellite to discuss his title hopes, and the final eight Sprint Cup races of his storied career. Kurt Busch join's NASCAR AMERICA in-studio from NBC Sports Group's headquarters in Stamford, Conn., on Thursday to discuss his fifth-place finish last weekend in New Hampshire, and thoughts heading into Dover.

Dave from Indiana, also known as @nascarcasm, joins Nate Ryan on this week's NASCAR on NBC podcast for an entertaining discussion about how his witty Twitter hobby of poking fun at all things NASCAR transformed into a full-time job.
