NBC has officially picked up six episodes of NEXT CALLER (A.K.A. NEXT CALLER PLEASE). The Dane Cook/Collette Wolfe single-camera comedy from writer Stephen Falk, Lionsgate and Universal TV, is about a testosterone-wielding DJ and his new feminist co-host who host a relationship radio show in New York City.

With seven shows picked up, the rest of NBC's comedy pilots will have to take a pass, including Daddy's Girls, starring Scott Bakula and another pilot starring Minnie Driver and Andrea Anders.

Additionally, NBC has dropped freshman series "Awake," "Best Friends Forever," "Bent" and "Are You There Chelsea?"
