Mark Wahlberg and A & E Partner on New Pilot TEAMSTERS

A&E is partnering with executive producers Mark Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson, Kevin Harrison and Bill Thompson on the unscripted pilot TEAMSTERS (wt), featuring the Teamsters Local 25 in Boston, it was announced today by Bob DeBitetto, President and General Manager, A&E and BIO Channel.

Set in the real-life world that provided such color to films as The Fighter and The Departed, "Teamsters" will give viewers a first hand glimpse of the most legendary union in the most aggressive and territorial city in America: Boston. Here, the Teamsters Local 25 battle for the rights of their 11,000 members.

"Teamsters" is produced by Closest to the Hole Productions, Leverage Management and Transition Productions. Mark Wahlberg ("Entourage," "Boardwalk Empire") serves as executive producer for Closest to the Hole Productions; Stephen Levinson ("Entourage," "In Treatment") serves as executive producer for Leverage Management; Kevin Harrison serves as executive producer for Transition Productions with Bill Thompson also serving as executive producer. David McKillop serves as executive producer for A&E.
