"Meet the Press with David Gregory" was the top-rated Sunday morning public affairs hour for the week ending October 7, 2012, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

“Meet the Press” attracted 3.048 million total viewers, leading “This Week” by +1% (+24,000), the “Face the Nation” hour by +51% (+1,034,000), and “FOX News Sunday” by +106% (+1,571,000).

MTP delivered an additional 1,301,000 total viewers and 679,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts -- 609,000 total viewers and 282,000 viewers A25-54 on the network, and 692,000 total viewers and 251,000 viewers A25-54 on MSNBC.

In Washington, DC, MTP averaged 97,000 total viewers (3.6/9 HH) in the market, +49% ahead of both FOX News Sunday’s (2.3/6 HH) and the Face the Nation hour’s (2.0/5 HH) 65,000 viewers and +137% more than This Week’s 41,000 viewers (1.4/4 HH).
