MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD Wins Across The Board Again, Marking Six Straight Weeks At #1

The dominance of "Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" (MTP) as the most-watched Sunday show continues, as the broadcast marks its sixth week across the board at #1, according to Nielsen Media Research data. This is the broadcast's best across-the-board streak in 17 weeks (since 3/11/2018).

Sunday's broadcast featured an interview with U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman who told Todd: "You don't know what's going to come out of this meeting," previewing President Trump's meeting with Russian President Putin in Helsinki the next day. The broadcast also featured an interview with Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.), vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, and an exclusive interview with Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska).

MTP won in total viewers for its sixth consecutive broadcast, beating both ABC and CBS by double-digits. 2.752 million total viewers tuned into MTP: ten percent (+245,000) more than ABC's "This Week" and +20 percent (+449,000) more than CBS' "Face the Nation." This marks MTP's tenth straight win over ABC and sixth straight win over CBS in total viewers. Compared to last year, MTP leads CBS in total viewers almost eight times (+392,000) more.

MTP also won in the demo most valued by news advertisers for its 28th straight broadcast, again beating ABC and CBS by double-digits. 747,000 A25-54 demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program: +21 percent (+129,000) more than ABC and +65 percent (+295,000) more than CBS. The demo win marks the broadcast's best demo streak in more than seven years (since 3/06/2011). Compared to last year, MTP improved its key demo lead over CBS by +15 percent (+37,000).

An additional 1.091 million total viewers and 277,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.

Season-to-date, MTP continues as the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board, delivering its biggest total viewer win over ABC in six years (since 2011-12) and CBS in seven years (since 2010-11).

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday with total viewers for more than three straight years (since March 22, 2015).

Tune in to MSNBC's "MTP Daily" weekdays at 5 p.m. for more from moderator Chuck Todd, and follow the broadcast on Facebook and on Twitter for the latest.
