Los Tucanes de Tijuana Perform Theme Song for Telemundo's SENORA ACERO

Telemundo Studios invited world-renowned and multi-platinum selling Regional Mexican band Los Tucanes de Tijuana to produce and perform "La Señora de Acero", the theme song for the network's upcoming new super series "Señora de Acero", starring Blanca Soto. Los Tucanes de Tijuana will perform the song for the first time ever, at Telemundo's "Premios Tu Mundo" awards show on August 21st.

The corrido "La Señora de Acero" tells the story of a woman with a strong character, who knows how to overcome fear and adversity using two powerful weapons: her beauty and intelligence. "We feel honored to have been asked to write and produce this song for such an important television series as 'Señora Acero' is" commented Mario Quintero Lara of Los Tucanes de Tijuana. He also noted, "Sara Aguilar's story is unique and we feel Telemundo is doing a remarkable job at bringing her story to the screen."

Blanca Soto stars in "Señora de Acero," along with an excellent cast including Andrés Palacios, Rebecca Jones, Litzy and special guest, Damián Alcázar. The series, filmed in numerous locations around Mexico, tells the story of Sara Aguilar Bermúdez (Blanca Soto), a stunningly beautiful, charismatic and intelligent woman who goes from housewife to someone capable of shaking up the entire structure of a government.

For more than 27 years, Los Tucanes De Tijuana have been one of the most successful and renowned Regional Mexican bands in Mexico and the U.S. They have sold over 13 million records worldwide, topped the radio charts with more than 65 hit singles, earned 30 platinum sales certifications from the RIAA and have accumulated numerous accolades including an impressive list of awards and nominations.
