Longhorn Network, ESPN's 24-hour network devoted to the University of Texas, returns original weekly football programming beginning Monday, Aug. 29. The fall schedule is highlighted with expert analysis surrounding every football game from Texas' most recognizable Longhorn Legends, including a new role for Lifetime Longhorn and NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho.

LHN's football coverage begins Mondays at 11 a.m. CT with the live TEXAS FOOTBALL PRESS CONFERENCE of Coach Charlie Strong. Beginning September 5 - and every Monday after a game - LHN airs Rewind with Charlie Strong at 7 p.m., an exclusive weekly sit-down with host Lowell Galindo and Coach Strong breaking down the most recent game from the Longhorn Network studios.

For the first time, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the network will carry the football coordinator press conferences of Sterlin Gilbert and Vance Bedford at 10 p.m. and 4 p.m. respectively. Also on Tuesdays, Texas Football Overdrive reclaims its timeslot, providing a 60-minute wrap up of all the action of Texas' latest matchup, enhanced with player and coach interviews.

LHN's opening week schedule is highlighted by the season premiere of LHN's signature pregame show, Texas GameDay, Sunday, Sept. 4. Acho debuts alongside returning Heisman Award winner Ricky Williams and BCS National Champion Vince Young, with an official spot at the Texas GameDay desk this season to talk Texas football.

Acho has previously appeared on LHN in a contributor role.

The show returns to its original location inside the southeast corner of Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium for home games after airing outside of Gate 25 last season. It will once again be helmed by Lowell Galindo with LHN's Alex Loeb serving as reporter. For away games Galindo and Loeb will be joined by analysts Acho, Rod Babers and two-time SUPER BOWL Champion Dan Neil from the Players' Lounge in Moncrief.

Texas GameDay Final caps off the network's game day coverage with instant post-game analysis from the LHN set following each game.

The network also returns Texas Football Statcast as a second screen statistical experience for the Notre Dame at Texas game, as well as other games not televised by LHN throughout the season. LHN's first game telecast is slated for UTEP at Texas on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. CT. The matchup will be the 13th Texas football game to air live on the network. Galindo, Ahmad Brooks and Keith Moreland will call the game action.
