Leslie Odom Jr. Signs On to NBC Drama Pilot STATE OF AFFAIRS

Deadline reports that Broadway and 'Smash' star Leslie Odom Jr. has signed on to the cast of NBC's drama pilot STATE OF AFFAIRS.

The actor joins previously announced cast members Katherine Heigl as Charleston Whitney Tucker, described as "a key CIA attaché who counsels the president on high-stakes incidents around the world." Odom will take on the role of Chief of Staff to the President of the U.S., Mitchell Manning,

The actor can currently be seen on Person of Interest and Law & Order: SVU. He was most recently seen on Broadway in Leap of Faith. Other TV credits include Smash, House of Lies, Supernatural, CSI: Miami, Big Day, Vanished and more.
