Lehrer Promoted to VP of Bravo Media Development, Effective Immediately

On the heels of Bravo's original programming driving the network's best second quarter in history, Eli Lehrer was promoted to Vice President, Development, Bravo Media, effective immediately. The announcement was made today by Andy Cohen, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development, to whom he will continue to report.

In his new role, Lehrer will lead development for Bravo on both coasts by identifying series concepts and signature characters that appeal to the network's most affluent and educated audience. Lehrer will relocate to Los Angeles where he will be based.

"Eli's a smart, thoughtful executive with a keen eye on what's happening culturally, " said Cohen. "His knack for discovering innovative concepts and talent has contributed to the success of some of Bravo's biggest pop culture hits over the past years."

Lehrer previously held the post of Vice President, Development and Production, East Coast for Bravo Media since 2008, where he developed some of the network's most buzzed about programming including "Flipping Out," "The Real Housewives of New York City," "The Rachel Zoe Project," and "The Real Housewives of D.C." and he executive produced "Watch What Happens: Live," "The Millionaire Matchmaker," and "Tabatha's Salon Takeover."

Prior to his tenure at Bravo, Lehrer served Manager, East Coast Development at VH1. He helped oversee the production of specials and series, including "Driven Presents: Stage Moms," "I Married," "True Spin," "Totally Obsessed" and "Fortune Files." In addition, Lehrer held posts at Artists Management Group and ABC News. In 2008, Lehrer was named as one of Multichannel News' top executives in their 40 Under 40 issue.

Lehrer has a B.A. in American History from Columbia University. He currently resides in New York with his wife and son.
