Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard Tie the Knot

TMZ reports that Hollywood sweethearts Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have married at the Beverly Hills County Clerk's Office following a four year engagement.

According to the report, the couple had originally visited the Clerk's Office to obtain a marriage license but when an employee offered to bring them together in holy matrimony on the spot, they decided to take the plunge. A photographer who was in The Office at the time was able to Capture the joyous event on film.

The couple, who first met in 2007, were engaged in 2009 but have been waiting for the same-sex marriage law to be overturned in the country prior to marrying. The recent decision of the Supreme Court to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act inspired Bell to re-propose to her fiance over Twitter. Last March, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Lincoln.

Bell is currently shooting a big screen adaptation of her hit TV series Veronica Mars. Shepard can be seen on NBC's Parenthood.
