The New York Post's Page Six reports that Khloe Kardashian may be waiting in the wings to replace recently departed co-host Kelly Osbourne on E!'s FASHION POLICE.

The network officially announced this week that Osbourne had exited the show to pursue other opportunities. Osbourne had publically stated that she took great offense to comments made by her co-host Giuliana Rancic about actress Zendaya's hair at the recent Academy Awards

Sources tell Page Six that Osbourne was furious over how E! handled the situation. "Kelly left not from the [comment] itself, but because of how Giuliana and the network handled it," the source explained, adding that she was upset at Rancic's accusation that she had not objected to the offensive comment during several takes, in which the Zendaya joke was repeated each time. Osbourne maintains that she did in fact object each time the statement was uttered.

Other rumored possible replacements for Osbourne include NENE LEAKES and Kristin Cavallari. Kardashian had appeared on the network's Oscars red-carpet special, and Page Six exclusively reported last week that the Kardashians have signed a record-breaking $100 million deal with E! for another four years.
