Jessica Alba Cast in NBC's BAD BOYS Television Spinoff

It has been reported that actress and entrepreneur, Jessica Alba, has been cast alongside the previously announced, Gabrielle Union as the co-lead in the pilot episode of the Bad Boys-spinoff pilot.

According to reports, Alba will play Nancy McKenna, a United States veteran who has done several tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq.

As a result of the sexism she experienced in the armed forces, McKenna joined the military police, and is currently working as partner to Union's character, Syd Burnett, as a detective.

The untitled drama was written by Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis and will be produced byf Sony Pictures Television Studios, Jerry Bruckheimer Television, Primary Wave and 2.0 Entertainment.

Alba, who is best known for her work as an actress, author, entrepreneur, fashion icon, and co-founder of The Honest Company, will also be credited as executive producer on the series.
