Now that Conan O'Brien is off the air and on the road with a live comedy tour, 'Tonight Show's' prodigal son Jay Leno is trying to clear the air about the late-night shakeup at NBC, telling Joy Behar that he got "screwed" too.

"Conan got screwed, I got screwed. I mean, this is TV," Leno told Behar on her CNN talk show. And, by screwed, Leno is referring to O'Brien getting dumped as host of 'The Tonight Show' after hosting the famed program for seven months so that Leno could return to late night.

O'Brien received $33 million from NBC to leave the network, and also to stay off of television for eight months, according to Zap2It.com.

"The reason show business pays a lot of money is so when you get screwed, you got something left over," Leno said. "I think Conan will come back and he'll be strong and we'll all compete against each other."
