Deadline reports that Jason O'Mara has been cast in a high-profile recurring role on the CBS legal drama THE GOOD WIFE. The actor will portray 'Colin', described as "a wild-eyed Irish attorney who has spent a decade successfully defending gang members and crime families. Now he's looking for a home at a corporate law firm like Lockhart/Gardner where he clashes with the more conservative culture."

His television work includes 'Life on Mars,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Trust Me,' 'Marlowe,' 'Men in Trees,' 'Criminal Minds,' 'Drift,' 'In Justice,' 'The Closer,' 'The Agency,' and 'Band of Brothers.' He was most recently seen in 'Vegas' and the sci-fi thriller, Terra Nova.

O'Mara's theatre credits include THE HOMECOMING, bash (Gate Theatre Dublin), THE JEW OF MALTA (Almeida Theatre - directed by Michael Grandage), SCHOOL FOR Scandal (RSC) and POPCORN (Apollo Theatre).

The Good Wife returns Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9/8c on CBS.
