The hit online television series, The Battery's Down, will premiere Episode 11, "Bad Bad News," on Friday, May 1 at Midnight on YouTube and their official website. The show is filmed in a style similar to Curb Your Enthusiasm and chronicles the life of young actor Jake Wilson in New York City. Each twenty-minute, two-part episode will premiere at Midnight on the first of every month and feature a slew of Broadway guest stars.

With a theme song composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Edges, Johnny and the Sprites), each episode will be written by Wilson and will also feature new songs by a talented musical theatre writer or writing team, including Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy!), David Kirshenbaum (Vanities, Summer of '42), Michael Patrick Walker (Altar Boyz), Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk (The Unauthorized Biography of Samantha Brown), Josh Salzman and Ryan Cunningham (I Love You Because), Sean Mahoney (Factory Girls), Michael Weiner and Alan Zachary (Secondhand Lions), and Ryan Scott Oliver and Kirsten A. Guenther (Mrs. Sharp).

The second season is lead by director/choreographer Connor Gallagher (Perez Hilton Saves The Universe) and Music Supervisor Adam Wachter (Happy Days).

Making return appearances as series regulars are Tony Award winner John Gallagher, Jr. (Spring Awakening, Rabbit Hole), Tyler Maynard (The Little Mermaid, Altar Boyz), Dani Spieler (Legally Blonde), and Nina Sturtz.

Episode 11 will guest star Emmy Award-Winner Allison Janney (The West Wing, 9 to 5), Will Chase (Story of My Life, Rent), Deidre Goodwin (A Chorus Line, 30 Rock), Brynn O'Malley (Wicked, Hairspray), Andy Karl (9 to 5, Legally Blonde), Carly Jibson (Cry-Baby, Hairspray), Dana Steingold (Spelling Bee), Andrew Arrington (The Lion King, Spelling Bee), Eric Roediger (Spelling Bee), Jay Russell (Our Town), Stephanie Gibson (Spamalot, A Chorus Line) Sas Goldberg (Stunning), Ariana Grande and members of the original cast of 13 The Musical.

"Bad Bad News" will also feature two original songs. "Keep It Campy" penned by The Battery's Down team of Adam Wachter, Jake Wilson and Connor Gallagher and "All About Me" composed by Glory Days' Nick Blaemire.
