Jane Lynch to Lead Comedy Central's 'Roast Of Roseanne'
The network announced today that Jane Lynch will be the Roast Master for the upcoming "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Roseanne" (#RoseanneRoast). The event will tape in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 4 and will premiere on COMEDY CENTRAL on Sunday, August 12 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
"I've long fantasized of ripping Roseanne Barr a new one. But because I don't have the cajones to say anything offensive to her face, I will be hosting the proceedings," said Lynch.
The "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of Roseanne" will be executive produced by Joel Gallen from Tenth Planet Productions, who also served as Executive Producer and Director of the COMEDY CENTRAL Roasts Of Charlie Sheen, Donald Trump, David Hasselhoff, Joan Rivers, Larry The Cable Guy, Bob Saget, Flavor-Flav, Pamela Anderson, as well as the Emmy-nominated "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast Of William Shatner." Jonas Larsen is the Executive in Charge for the network.
