Showbiz411 reports exclusively that the big screen adaptation of "The Adderal Diaries" is set to feature some true A-List Hollywood stars. According to the report, Ed Harris, Cynthia Nixon, Amber Heard, Christian Slater, and James Franco are among those that have already signed on for the low-budget project.

Pamela Romanowsky will helm the film for Franco's production company. She also co-wrote the script, along with Franco from a memoir of Stephen Elliot.

The story follows a "computer programmer who kills his Russian wife, whom he met through an online dating service. The main character is the reporter (Elliott) who covers the murder trial."

Filming is scheduled to get underway on May 6th in New York.

Franco is currently making his Broadway debut in "Of Mice and Men."
