STAR WARS Episode VII director JJ Abrams turned to Twitter today to respond to recent photo leaks of images from the set of the highly anticipated film, particularly from the TMZ web site.

"I wish people would stop leaking photos from Episode VII. And making ridiculous claims that the Millennium Falcon is in the movie. JJ", says a hand-written note from the director accompanied by a glimpse of the hologram chess board that appeared in the original "Star Wars."

It appears that Abrams is being facetious in his reference to the Falcon, which will surely be featured in the latest installment.

Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow will join the original stars of the Saga Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker in the new film.

Star Wars: Episode VII is being directed by J.J. Abrams from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams. Kathleen Kennedy, Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing and John Williams returns as the composer. The movie opens worldwide on December 18, 2015.
