While appearing on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM morning radio show, JC Chavez commented on the possibility of a reunion tour with his fellow *NSYNC band members. The hottest boy band of the 2000's appeared for the first time in 10 years at Sunday night's VMA's on MTV for a 30-second performance of their hit single, 'Bye Bye Bye.'

"It was just about five guys who were great friends, who spent 10 or 15 years together touring," said the 37-year-old musician of the surprise appearance. "We wanted to give that back to our fans, but we were there mainly to support Justin."

He continued, "Literally just a few days ago, Justin gave me a buzz and he pretty much said, 'Hey man, listen, I'm getting this award and they've given me a pile of time to perform, and we started our careers at MTV and I think we should get the band back together'."

Describing the reunion experience as if "no time had passed", Chavez reminded listeners that the night's focus was to pay homage to Timberlake. "It really was about [Justin], and all that he's accomplished. He wanted to acknowledge that part of his career, and so we all decided to do it."
