Immersive DOWNTOWN ABBEY Exhibition to Launch Worldwide This June

Variety reports that NBCUniversal International Studios and Imagine Exhibitions will launch "Downton Abbey: The Exhibition" beginning at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The multi-year tour will visit locations around the world. Additional cities have not yet been announced and tickets are not yet available, however fans of the show can be notified about future plans and can pre-register for tickets at the exhibition's website here.

The exhibition is described as "an immersive experience that allows visitors to journey through the world of Carnival Films' multi-award-winning show, exploring the high society Crawleys as well as those that served them."

Commented Michael Edelstein, president of NBCUniversal International Studios, "'Downton Abbey' is a global phenomenon and viewers all around the world continue to ask for more. 'Downton Abbey: The Exhibition' allows this incredible legacy to live on by offering a multi-million dollar museum quality experience that will delight fans, ultimately extending the connection they have with Downton's compelling characters and storylines."

Among the sets included in the exhibition will be Mrs. Patmore's kitchen and the servants' quarters. Also included will be never-before-aired footage, and period costumes worn by Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville and Dame Maggie Smith.
