By: Oct. 29, 2013

Deadline reports that the NBC network will be adapting best-selling author Harlen Coben's GONE FOR GOOD for the small screen to be penned by Alexandra Cunningham.

Cunningham, who is currently writing and executive producing a reboot of Murder, She Wrote for the peacock network will reunite with Peter Berg and Sarah Aubrey's Film 44 for the drama project.

The hourlong movie will be based on Coben's best-selling thriller will follow Will Klein, "whose endless search for his missing and allegedly murderous brother, Ken, is filled with so many twists and turns it leaves him doubting the actions of everybody he's ever loved."

Coben is the author of mystery novels and thrillers. The plots of his novels often involve the resurfacing of unresolved or misinterpreted events in the past (such as murders, fatal accidents, etc.) and often have multiple plot twists. Both series of Coben's books are set in and around New York and New Jersey, and some of the supporting characters in the two series have appeared in both.
