HGTV has ordered 13 additional episodes of Meg's Great Rooms, the weekly series featuring HGTV Design Star season six winner Meg Caswell. In each episode, Caswell uses her background in criminology to identify what she calls 'design crimes' and transform tired, outdated common spaces such as family rooms, dens and great rooms into truly gorgeous, functional spaces just right for today's active families.

"Our viewers took an immediate liking to Meg's design skills and dynamic personality," said Kathleen Finch, general manager, HGTV. "She definitely embodies exactly what we're looking for in a Design Star - the ability to make dramatic room transformations while relating to the homeowners and her audience in a fun, genuine way."
