Gravitas Ventures has acquired BEYOND GLORY, a feature film that tells the true stories of eight Medal of Honor recipients as performed by acclaimed actor Stephen Lang. James Cameron, Jon Landau, and Lightstorm Entertainment executive produced the project which also features THE VOICE talents of Gary Sinise. "Stephen Lang's inspiring tour de force of writing and acting brings to life a handful of this nation's greatest real heroes, who now, with this film, pass firmly into legend," said award-winning director James Cameron.

Spanning stages from NY's famed Flea Theater to battleships, forward operating bases, and meticulously crafted CGI environments, BEYOND GLORY is a kaleidoscopic adaptation of Lang's acclaimed one-man show, itself an adaptation of Larry Smith's nonfiction book of the same name. Larry Brand directed and edited the piece which has played festivals nationwide including stops at Tallgrass, FilmColumbia, Cinema on the Bayou, and the Phoenix Film Festival where it recently took the Special Jury Prize for Acting.

"BEYOND GLORY is a project very near and dear to my heart, and I am exceedingly pleased to be partnering with Gravitas on its release. With their creative expertise I know that our film will reach the widest possible audience." said Lang.

"There's a timeless quality to the stories told in BEYOND GLORY. With Gravitas's release of the film, movie audiences will get to experience Stephen Lang's portrayal of men in battle as if seeing it live on the stage." said director Brand.

Gravitas Ventures' Senior Director of Acquisitions Dan Fisher added, "We are thrilled to be working with the BEYOND GLORY team to bring to audiences across the United States this honest and moving tribute to the fathomless courage and ongoing sacrifice of our nation's servicemen."

BEYOND GLORY is wrapping up its festival tour with stops at the Black Hills Film Festival and the GI Film Festival where it will receive the G.I. Choice Award. It will be released on all platforms this fall.

CAA negotiated the deal on behalf of the filmmakers.
