Giovanni Cianci Joins LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT as Music Producer

Giovanni Cianci has joined THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT as music producer, it was announced today by executive producers Stephen Colbert and Chris Licht. In this role, Cianci will be responsible for booking and producing music segments for THE LATE SHOW and will work with supervising producer Emily Gertler and the show's talent booking team.

Cianci joins THE LATE SHOW after 15 years working in various aspects of music talent management. Most recently, Cianci was a partner in Bassline Management, which represents acts such as Andra Day, Wildling, Wild Wild Horses and Lily Meola. Before that he worked as a talent manager at Lookout Management and The Creed Company.

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT, a production of The Late Show Inc., airs weeknights (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Stephen Colbert, Chris Licht, Tom Purcell and Jon Stewart are the executive producers.

Stephen Colbert brings his signature satire and comedy to THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT where he talks with an eclectic mix of guests about what is new and relevant in the worlds of politics, entertainment, business, music, technology and more. Featuring bandleader Jon Batiste with his band Stay Human, the show is broadcast from the historic and newly renovated Ed Sullivan Theater. Stephen Colbert took over as host, executive producer and writer of THE LATE SHOW on Sept. 8, 2015.
