Geoffrey Owens Joins Hilary Swank and Michael Ealy in FATALE

Geoffrey Owens joins Hilary Swank and Michael Ealy in Deon Taylor's noir thriller Fatale, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Damaris Lewis has also joined the cast that includes Mike Colter and Tyrin Turner.

Fatale centers on a married man (Ealy) who is tricked into a murder scheme by a seductive female police detective (Swank). Lewis plays Ealy's character's wife, Traci, while Owens plays his attorney.

The film will be directed by Taylor with from a script by David Loughery.

"Geoffrey and Damaris are great talents with cool roles in Fatale that will show off their acting chops working opposite Hilary, Michael and the others, said Taylor. "These will be memorable performances, for sure. We're excited that shooting is underway and have our game plan working to make an amazing movie."

Owens has received an outpouring of support since being photographed working at a Trader Joe's, a photo that went viral and received a lot of criticism from social media users. Since then he has received support from Hollywood and he has booked a role on Tyler Perry's The Have and Have-Nots and will guest-star on an episode of CBS' NCIS: New Orleans this fall.
