As first reported on The Hollywood Reporter, General Hospital actress Brianna Brown has joined the cast of Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry's upcoming TV pilot DEVIOUS MAIDS from ABC studios.

DEVIOUS MAIDS will tell the story of "four maids (Ana Ortiz, Judy Reyes, Roselyn Sanchez and Dania Ramirez) with ambition and dreams of their own while they work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills." Brown will portray Taylor Slate, described as "the classy and smart second (trophy) wife to Michael Slate, who's insecure as his ex, Marisol, continues to be a factor in his life."

The Desperate Housewives creator will pen and executive produce the project along with Sabrina Wind, Paul Presburger, David Lonner, Larry Shuman, Michael Garcia and John Mass. Paul McGuigan will direct the pilot.

Brianna Brown played Dr. Lisa Niles on the long-running soap opera General Hospital. Her other TV credits include guest appearances on Awake, Private Practice and Homeland.
