GLEE alum Jacob Artist turned to Instagram to reveal the news that he has joined the cast of AMERICAN HORROR STORY's sixth season. The casting reunites the actor with Ryan Murphy, who created both the FX anthology series and the FOX musical dramedy.

Artist is not the first former GLEE cast member to appear on Murphy's AHS. Past installments of the horror series have featured GLEE regular Darren Criss and GLEE guest star Matt Bomer. AMERICAN HORROR STORY premieres Wednesday at 10/9c on FX.

Jacob Artist joined GLEE in the fourth season in the role of Jake Puckerman, half-brother of regular character Noah "Puck" Puckerman. He currently stars as Brandon Fletcher in the ABC thriller Quantico.
